Why We Need Your RSVP: This is a technical workshop designed to get you from "zero" to "first battle" on the digital battlefield. While seating is first-come, first-served, we require an RSVP to help us manage computer resources and technical support for the session.

Your response helps us determine:

• Technical Support: Estimating how many volunteers are needed to assist with installation, configuration, and interface navigation for beginners.
• Handouts: Preparing printed quick-start guides and cheat sheets for movement, firing, and damage resolution.

Important Notes:

• Device Requirements: If you plan to bring your own laptop, please ensure you have administrative rights to install software (MegaMek is free/open-source). 
• Beginner Friendly: No prior Alpha Strike or Classic BattleTech digital experience needed! Host Chris F. will walk you through every click and menu step-by-step.
• Software Prep: Installation may take time. It is highly recommended that you download the MegaMek installer before arriving at the con if you have internet access.
• Topics Covered: Installation & Setup, Navigating the UI, Basic Rules (Movement/Firing/Damage), Online Play (finding servers), and Custom Scenarios.
